Ama's Originals answers the frequently asked questions.

Ama's Originals, while new in this format, has actually been around for a few years. There have been some questions that pop up from time to time. So, here are the common or frequent ones.

Think of this fellow as LaughingBear. He's the one that does all the web magic, and often helps me answer the questions.

How much does it cost?

Well, the price depends on which product and which options! Adding scent to a product adds a little bit to the price. Some fabrics are going to cost more than others.
Other options, as they become available, may require an additional fee.

Can you add scents (aromas) to it?

Yes, I can add scents to many of my products. Some are more subtle than others. Some require a significant amount to even be noticed.

How much will I spend on shipping?

The cost of shipping varies on the type and number of products ordered. Currently, all shipping is done via USPS (United State Postal Service) Priority packaging. See my shipping page. If It Fits, It Ships seemed to be the easiest method. Some products "fit" better than others, but by using Priority packaging your products arrive within three days of my notification to you that it has shipped.

How can I check on my orders? Can I track the package?

Yes, aboslutely! When I send you the email indicating your order has shipped, I will always include the tracking information. It will be included as a link so you can go directly to the shipper and see where it is.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes! Because I accept payment through PayPal, your payment is secured through their system. I never see your credit card information.

What is your privacy policy?

Ama's Originals is as concerned with your privacy as I am my own. As a result, I (and Laughing Bear) take every precaution I can to protect your privacy. I will never sell your information to anyone. For more details, see my Privacy Policy page.

What are my payment options?

I am currently only accepting payment through my PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account, you can use it to pay directly or use your credit card through their portal.

What are my shipping options?

Shipping is through USPS (United States Postal Service). I use Priority Mail for almost all shipping. I do this for two reasons. First, Priority Mail arrives within three days, sometimes less, for almost every destination in the United States. (I haven't investigated international shipping options yet.) Second, our Post Office is less than a mile away and we really like the staff!

What happens if an item in my order is out of stock?

Since most of my orders are custom made to your specifications, honestly, that's the most common scenario. I don't keep a lot of pre-made stock. Most orders consist of some level of customization, so it's hard to keep one of EVERY variation in stock. What this usually means is I'll get your order made within a day or two, longer if it's a large order. Once it's made, I'll send an invoice. When I receive payment notification, your order goes out that day, if it's received before 2 p.m. Mountain Time.

Does Ama's Originals offer any gift services?

Not exactly. I hope to one day offer gift cards. I may even offer Packaging options in the future. (Send me your ideas!) If you want to have an item shipped to you in a box ready for wrapping, include that in the order notes at PayPal.

Can you make it in <this-kind-of> fabric?

I can try. If I don't have any that fits your theme, I can search the web. Most of the time, I can find something that will fit. (I found fabric to fit for a lawyer and a chemist once!)

Keep in mind, if I have to find it, it will take time for me to receive it THEN make it.
